The Ghana Grid Company Limited(GRIDCo) is scheduled for a protest march today to drum home its “enough is enough” campaign against its debtors.
Today’s march by GRIDCo precedes a sit-down strike by December 4 if the debts owed the company are not paid.
According to the Association, the three major customers of GRIDCo, namely Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Northern Power Distribution Company (NEDCO) and Volta Aluminum Company (VALCO) owed the Company to a tune of GH₵ 1.2 billion since February 2019.
