The Accra Sports stadium was lit Sunday night as patrons who thronged the Livespot X Festival went agog with performances from A-list Ghanaian artistes and sensational American rapper Cardi B.
Ghanaian artistes who performed on the night included Medikal, Kofi Mole, Becca, Eno Barony and Miss Forson.
Patrons were well served with great music as artistes entertained them for a number of hours.
Ahead of the show, the American had set Ghanaian social media platforms on fire after she reportedly snubbed celebrities for a planned meet and greet session.
Reacting to the snubbing issue, the American rapper said the promoters of the event did not inform her about a scheduled meet and greet with celebrities, adding that it was not in her nature to disrespect others.
“I asked my booking agent whether I had a meet and greet and he said no. When I woke up, I went downstairs around 3 pm to soak up some sun at the pool. I woke up and I saw this rage going on social media and everybody was like, you gotta do a meet and greet. I guess a lot of artistes were upset because they got invited to meet and greet and I wasn’t there and for that, I apologize but it wasn’t my fault. When I was at the pool and the same girls talking shit about me, couldn’t walk up to me so I could be aware”. She fumed.
