
As part of the celebration of their one-year anniversary organisers of Citizen Check will be embarking on a walk headlined by Tema based artistes like King Promise, Criss Waddle, Sarkodie and poet Laud De Poet.
Happening on Saturday, December 28, the walk it is expected to pull a large number of crowd as artistes will also use the opportunity to get personal with their fans.
Apart from the walk, there will be other activities like donation of foodstuffs and materials to the prisons and a public hospital respectively, donation of educational materials to some selected schools in the Tema metropolis, a clean-up and tree planting exercise.
Citizen check is a non-political movement that focuses on the social benefits of the Ghanaian populace, social benefits which is on the decline within our various communities and vicinities.
Citizen check as a representative voice of the people of Ghana, its mandate and values is to help those in Authority especially those that the citizens have entrusted power into their hands to work for the benefit of all and to
resolve issues that are worrisome to them.
The youth have arisen all over the country to vent their anger and displeasure to some abnormalities which have affected the socio-economic progress and the security system at large, which they feel is worrisome and needs attention in many different ways and as their voice we can’t stay silent.

Though it’s happening in Tema, because of what the pressure group stands for and represents it has court and got the attention of AbassSariki and the SM president Shatta Wale who’d be coming all the way from Kole-Gono to join in what looks like the making of history as one of the biggest walks in the history of Ghana. Other celebrities will be passing through as well.
