Following the widespread of the deadly Coronavirus, Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has been sharing a message of hope with her followers on Twitter.

She took to Twitter to express her opinion that God’s way of reminding believers and non-believers that he owns the world is the reason the world is faced with this deadly pandemic.

The screen goddess in her latest tweet communicated that there is a reason for every misfortune in this world.

Nelson indicated that the lockdown period experienced by most countries affected by the virus coincides with this year’s Easter celebration.

She believes for a fact that God wants humanity to pay attention to Him and what He did and still does for them in the Easter season.

“Sit down for a moment, and just think. Easter and all the celebrations in the past. How will this year be like? You’ll be home! Why do we celebrate Easter? Just get deep for a min for me!” Yvonne Nelson tweeted

Easter, a principal festival of the Christian church year which celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after His Crucifixion.

Yvonne Nelson stated that the lockdown period is essential since individuals cannot use work and other engagements as an excuse but to get closer to God in this pandemic era which coincides with this year’s Easter celebration.

“We are on lockdown – a Virus – the timing – Easter is getting close – what’s the essence of Easter? JESUS died for mankind! He wants us to pay attention to Him and what He did and still does for us. Now we won’t use work and other engagements as an excuse!” Nelson added

Nelson believes as Christians, this is the right time to appreciate God for all He is done for mankind.
