A total of 17 Coronavirus (COVID-17) patients in Ghana have fully recovered (tested double negative) from the disease, the Ghana Health Service has announced.
According to the Service, 66 persons more have tested negative during the first test and awaiting the results of the second test.
Addressing a press conference in Accra to update the nation on the fight against COVID-19, Tuesday, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Aboagye disclosed that 208 other patients are in mild condition and being treated at home and isolation centres.
He added that currently, there are only two critically ill persons on admission, with 10 deaths recorded.
Ghana’s case count of the coronavirus has now reached 566.
