Promasidor, an African Beverage and food-products powerhouse through its Ghana branch, Promasidor Ghana Limited, has presented a cheque of Seventy Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc 70,000.00) and Sixty Thousand Cedis worth of their flagship products, Cowbell milk, and Miksi, to the Covid-19 National Trust Fund to support their operations.

The presentation is part of a total package of three hundred thousand Ghana (GHc 300,000.00)earmarked by the company to support Government’s efforts aimed at stopping the spread of the deadly novel Coronavirus, Covid-19 in Ghana.

At a brief ceremony held at the offices of the Covid-19 Trust Fund at point six, Jubilee House, Human Resource Manager of Promasidor Ghana, Andrew Bodom, said the food and beverage company recognizes the difficulties that have arisen as a result of the pandemic and as a corporate organization, they feel obliged to offer their support to the State in the fight against the pandemic. He further indicated that Promasidor will remains committed to offer constant support to Government going forward in the natuonal battle against the spread of Covid-19.

Chief Justice (Rtd) Sophia Akuffo, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Covid-19 National Trust Fund, after receiving the cheque donation and the products stated that the gesture of Promasidor is deeply appreciated by the fund and by extension the people of Ghana. He assured them that the fund will make available the products to the needy and vulnerable as mandated the Act 1013.
