Two new regions have entered the coronavirus chart in the country, as Ghana’s case count reaches 1,279.

Western North has recorded one case, whilst Oti has 13 cases as the pandemic rages on.

This was confirmed by the  Ghana Health Service’s dedicated website in providing updates of the disease in the country.

Meanwhile, the Greater Accra tops the pack in relation to the regional distribution, with 1,089 cases.

The Ashanti Region follows with 69 and Eastern Region, 56 respectively.
