The Appointments Committee of Parliament has by consensus recommended for approval the nomination of Justice Clemence Honyenugah and three others as Supreme Court judges.

Information were rife that the minority would withdraw their support for the approval of Justice Honyenugah for endorsing the President’s second term bid in his capacity as a traditional ruler.

But the minority appears to have soften their stance on the matter as the approval of Justice Honyenugah has gone through successfully in the House.

A report by the Committee sighted by Kasapa News shows a unanimous approval of the judge and the three others who appeared before the House for vetting.

The others include Justice Issifu Omoro Tanko Amadu, Mr. Emmanuel Yoni Kulendi and Prof. Henrietta J.A.N Mensa-Bonsu.
