The issue of husbands managing their wives and vice versa has been predominant in the Ghanaian musical scene especially the gospel music sector with most of them ending on a sour note.
Not to mention names but one can recall a number of these cases in recent times.
The issue always arouses mixed reactions among showbiz stakeholders but Selina Boateng has declared her stance.
The “Menku meho” hitmaker answering this question asked by Eddie Ray on Kasapa Entertainment stated, “There is nothing wrong for my husband to manage me,”
“My husband is the right person because he loves me, knows my job, and will seek my interest which makes working easier but it demands greater understanding.
“My husband loves me for who I am and we really understand ourselves,” she added.
Over the years, Selina has warmed the heart of several Ghanaians with her back to back hit songs such as ‘Medofo Pa’, ‘Minku Meho’, ‘Alpha and Omega’, ‘Eda Papa’, ‘Wobeye Nhyira’ and many others.
The gospel diva won the 2012 VGMA Gospel song of the year and won four awards at the 2nd edition of the Ghana Gospel Industry Awards (GGIA) organized by Adom FM.
