USA-based arts organization, Majestic Entertainment Group America Foundation is collaborating with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and the Ghana Academy of Film and Television Arts (GAFTA) to organise a seminar for the creative artists.

Arts practitioners including musicians, music producers, filmmakers, writers, publishers and visual artists all over Ghana are expected to be part of the One-Day seminar.

The seminar seeks to literally educate industry players in the arts sector on how to use digital platforms to earn revenue from their online contents. It will also introduce participants to IRSC codes that will help authors collect their royalties all over the world.

Themed “Opening The Channels of Digital Distribution and Monetization”, the seminar will take place at the Accra Tourism Information Centre [ATIC] on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10am.

Majestic Entertainment Group will also recognise the works of both promising and seasoned musicians, music distributors through channels of digital distribution and to benefit equally as they monetize them on their social media platforms and beyond.

The seminar will be streamed live on Facebook and Zoom for citizens who may not be available at the venue.

The Musicians Union Of Ghana (MUSIGA) and GAFTA are hoping that record labels, up and coming musicians, music distributors, film makers, Film producers, book publishers, visual artists will all grasp the opportunity ahead of time to grow the creative industry in Ghana.
