The Supreme Court has fixed March 4, 2021 to deliver judgment on the ongoing 2020 presidential election petition before the court filed by former President John Mahama.

The apex Court panel of seven fixed the date on Monday, February 22, after disposing off all other pending motions.

It has also directed the Petitioner to file his closing address by close of Tuesday, February 23, 2021. This was after the court has granted them the leave to file out of time.

The Respondents Electoral Commission and Nana Akufo-Addo lawyers opposed the application but the court said in the best interest of justice, the Petitoner be allowed to file out of time.

The court said, after looking at the addresses, if there was something for the Court to clarify, it will notify the parties.
