Education Minister-designate, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has asked the public to be wary of criminals using his name to solicit funds on social media.
In a Press Statement issued on Wednesday, Dr. Yaw Adutwum entreated the general public to ignore all other Facebook pages in his name, reiterating that his account is verified.
“Please be notified formally that my official Facebook Page, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has been verified. Look out for the blue tick by my name. This is my only official Facebook page. Ignore all other pages that may bear my name. I use the Facebook Page for official communication and engagement with my constituents and the public at large. I will never use Faccbook or any of my other Social Media accounts to solicit for funds.
“If you find any fake or suspicious pages, activities etc. in my name, please report it to Facebook or contact me via my website www.vawoseiadutwum.com.”
