A member of the Communications Team of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Charles Owusu wants the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to emulate the footsteps of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) on how to manage a political party.

In his view, the NDC has a non comparable track record of properly managing their affairs better than any other political party he has ever witnessed in in the Fourth Republic and would want the NPP to do same if it is ready to govern the country.

“When it comes to managing a political party and bringing them to power, the NPP comes no near the NDC. The NPP should go to the NDC for tutorials on political party management,” he said in an interview with Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Si Me So on Kasapa 102.3 FM Wednesday.

His comments come in the wake of deepening cracks in the NPP following the indefinite suspension of its National Chairman, Paul Afoko on grounds of misconduct.

He told Owusu Adjei that the deep cracks in the NPP which is manifesting for all to see potrays the weakeness of the elephant family and how ineffective they have been in resolving their differences.

Such a situation, he noted, can never be witnessed under the NDC.

“The hallmark of the NDC is that even when you have been sanctioned, they have a strategy to bring you back and make you you even a better person when after serving your punishment.”
