The Bono East Regional Police Command has arrested a 26-year-old man, Beyele Akwasi with over 20 assorted guns.
According to the Bono East Regional Police Commander, DCOP Moses Asabagna Atibila, the man is suspected to be a gun manufacturer who produces weapons for armed robbers around Kintampo and its environs.
He told the media in Techiman that the suspect is believed to have sold out lots of weapons to people who are using them illegally.
DCOP Moses Asabagna Atibila assured the public that the Police will do everything within its power to fish out such persons illegally possessing the weapons to ensure that they do not use them for criminal purposes.
