The Excellence in Broadcasting(EIB) Network, has donated items worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to The Word of Wisdom Healing Power Ministry at Kasoa CP to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with the Charity Home.

This is a 3days campaign by EIB Save a Soul Foundation in partnership with Agoo tv and Kasapa Fm dubbed: “The Santa Cheri Tour” to put smiles on the faces of families and single parents caring for children with disability this yuletide.

The beautiful tour begun onTuesday, 20th of December, 2022 at Kasoa CP in the central region at the Word of Wisdom Healing Power Ministry, a Charity home that takes care of children born with disabilities.

The team was led by the business manager for both Kasapa FM and Agoo TV, Mr Charles Debrah, the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for EIB Mrs. Andriana Akosua Agyei, the Human Resource Manager for EIB, Ms Dorcas Kwao, the Head of Transport Mr. Kingsley Sam together with some workers of Kasapa FM.

Other partners include Flora tissues, Mivac water, Nkulenu, Dream cosmetics, Asor Foundation, Givers Never Lack Foundation, Binac Foundation, Misha Ghana and a Maestro from the Dromo foundation who has featured renowned gospel artiste like Mama Cynthia on “Awurade Bohy3”, Mr. Martin Hayford who led the donation with nice tunes from a trumpet sound.

According to the head of the charity home, Prophetess Rebecca Ofoe, it was established about 20 years ago with only 3 children from the beginning.

However, currently they are taking care of about 30 kids who are children with some level of disability.

Items such as biscuits, clothes, tissues, water, amongst others as well as undisclosed amount of cash.

Prophetess Rebecca Ofoe expressed appreciation to the team and called on government, NGO’s and other stakeholders to come to their aid.

The team from there visited 8year old Akosua who is a child with special needs and her Father Mr. Bright Oduro at Kasoa Akweley.

Mr Oduro disclosed to Kasapa News that, Akosua’s mum abandoned her due to her disability at the age of 2 years 3 months.

Although he said the journey has not been an easy one, he stood firm despite the challenges and kept on with his duties adding that he won’t stop.

He expressed appreciation to the team for the items donated such as sachet water, tissues, biscuits, and cash amongst others.

The team from there also visited Mr. victor Sabah; a single parent whose 12years daughter Perpetual Sabah is also a child with special need at Weija SCC.

He shared his experience and how the struggle has been after Perpetual’s mother abandoned her due to her disability as a result of an abortion drug her mum took at the initial stage of the pregnancy to get rid of it.

Thanks to the almighty God, the innocent child survived with a disability on her legs.

With the aim of becoming a banker someday, Perpetual is always amongst the first 4 top students to lead her class every term.

The father and daughter filled with joy thanked the team with a lovely sound from our trumpeter.

The day’s tour finally ended in the home of a 9-year-oldGifty (child with special care) and her mother at Old Weija. Equal items were donated to the family by the team.

The expressed satisfaction as they danced to the sound from the trumpet team that went with the team.
