Kumasi: Cars, spare parts burnt as fire guts mechanic shops at Asokwa

Two cars have been burnt in a fire outbreak at a vehicle straightening workshop at Asokwa, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The fire which started Wednesday night also consumed Vehicle spare parts in four separate container shops worth thousands of Ghana Cedis.

It is unclear what caused the fire.

It took the timely intervention of fire fighters to douse the fire to prevent it from spreading to other adjoining containers.

Victims of the fire while counting their losses on Thursday 1st June 2023, appealed for government intervention to restore life back into their automobile operations.
