A 38-year-old painter has been arrested by the Kasoa Divisional Police Command for allegedly raping his 18-year-old daughter at Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The suspect, Emmanuel Mensah is alleged to have started having sex with his daughter when she was twelve years old and threatened to kill her if she dares tells anybody about it.
He is also alleged to be having sex with his other younger daughter who is just eight years.
The Victim in an interview with Kasapa News, Yaw Boagyan said she was compelled to take action against his father as her mother who does not stay with them in the house couldn’t help her out of the situation when she reported the case to her.
The victim on Monday, June 12, 2023 boldly rushed to the Police Station to report the incident to the Kasoa Divisional Police Command.
Police then stormed the house of the suspect and arrest him.
Investigation has commenced and the suspect is expected to be arraigned before the Awutu Ofaakor Circuit Court soon
