Ghanaians have been told Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia leading the NPP into election 2024 and eventually becoming President is the will of the people and God.

In view of that, delegates within the ruling New Patriotic Party have been urged to help make this a reality, by crowning Dr. Bawumia as its flag-bearer come November this year when the party finally makes a decision as to who must lead the party.

Communication Team member of the Bawumia Must Win campaign in the Ashanti Region, Chairman Rashid Inusah, told Julius Caesar Anadem of the Ultimate FM Cup of Tea show that the impact of the vice president in the party and his selfless leadership makes him the right person to lead.

“I get baffled when people say negative things about Dr. Bawumia, when they don’t know him. This is a man who can even abandon all the goodies of his office and sit in a bus with his team to embark on campaigns.”

“We have seen people who were not vice presidents, but had helicopters take them on campaign tours, Dr. Bawumia is not that kind of person, and he is humble to the core. His bus had a problem while on his Ashanti region tour, but he got down and walked until the bus was fixed, that is a leader who cares,” he added.

“Bawumia is a gift from God, he becoming flagbearer and eventually president of Ghana is a will of the people and the will of God. This is a man who does not believe in violence that is why he says clean campaigning from him and his team regardless of what his opponents will say. He is committed to the cause of the NPP, reason he has been going to the delegates to seek their mandate and Isha Allah, he will prevail.”

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is in the NPP presidential race asking delegates to give him the nod to lead the party as its presidential candidate into the election 2024.

He is considered favorite in the race with some accusations that he is President Nana Addo’s choice to succeed him, which has been debunked by him.

Today is exactly 15 years Dr. Bawumia was nominated by Nana Addo to partner him in 2008 general elections.
