Large quantities of contaminated sugar and cooking oil have been found in a warehouse by the Suhum Police Command in the Eastern Region.
Sand has been added to the sugar bags to adulterate them. Real sugar is spread over the sand, which is positioned beneath the bags.
The vast amounts of cooking oil have water added to them.
During the operation, one suspect was arrested as a result of police intelligence.
At the warehouse near the Dr. Marvel Clinic, police were still counting the objects to see how many there were.
According to information obtained by Kasapa News, the accused have been peddling the bogus goods to unwary customers outside of Suhum township.
They were successful in defrauding an unknown number of shop owners in the Eastern Region.
