The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo-Dampare is today, Tuesday September 12, 2023, expected to appear before the seven-member parliamentary committee probing the Bugri Naabu leaked audio that captures a conversation of a plot to remove him (IGP) from office.
The IGP’s appearance according to the Chairman of the Committee, Atta Akyea will be held in camera.
Three police officers and the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Northern Regional Chairman, Daniel Bugri Naabu captured in the leaked tape have already appeared before the committee.
