The People of the Tongu areas in the Volta Region are now submerged by a spillage from the Volta river and hundreds have been rendered homeless.
Compassionate leaders rather think about how to always go to the aid of the very people they desire to lead or are leading. The priorities of leaders suggest how their future governance styles will be.
Mr.Alan Kyerematen, an Independent Presidential candidate has shown that the lives of the people he intends to lead, matters more than anything and so has toured all the affected areas in the Volta region.
He has learnt at first hand the various problems confronting the people and is poised to deal effectively with the issue given the opportunity.
In a rather surprising turn of events, the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who intends to lead this country is rather interested in campaigning to become the flagbearer of the NPP rather than just take an hour of his time to go and observe at first hand what the people of the Tongu areas are currently going through.
In fact he as the sitting Vice President should have been the first person to visit the area but like they say, priorities differ and so does not care about the people in the Tongu areas.
Voters, this is how the future hold for you if you vote carelessly.
The people of Tongu areas are very grateful to the caring stint of the leader for the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen for his swift response to their situation.
