President Akufo-Addo has appointed Deputy Minister for Energy, Herbert Krapa as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
This comes after Keli Gadzekpo who chaired ECG Board since 2017 tendered his resgination letter to President Akufo-Addo on March 26, 2024.
The appointment of Mr Krapa, a lawyer, will not affect his position as Deputy Minister as he’ll remain in office.
His nomination was contained in a letter addressed to the sector minister, Dr Matthew Prempeh.
