The Electricity Company of Ghana has announced to its customers and the general public that there’s now a stable national power supply (Stable National Grid).

A statement issued by the ECG said: “any customer who is currently experiencing power outage is due to a localised fault.”

The power distributing company urged any such person to call 0302611611 for immediate action to fix the outage and restore power.

Most parts of Accra and other regions have been experiencing power outages for weeks with no prior notice from the ECG or the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) limited.

Many citizens expressed displeasure over the development as it has affected businesses and individuals.

They called on the ECG to issue a load-shedding timetable to guide their activities but the ECG has insisted that, that it is not necessary as it is only working on some of its faulty transformers.
