Members of the Locked-up Investment Holders’ Forum have announced a weekly picketing at the Finance Ministry as they accuse the government of not honoring the promise of paying their locked up funds.

The group put on hold an earlier protest after the Deputy Finance Minister, Dr. Stephen Amoah, assured to address their concerns.

The group have been putting pressure on the Finance Ministry to guarantee that the Bank of Ghana will be able to release funds held in defunct financial companies.

Addressing the media, lead Convener of the Locked-up Investment Holders’ Forum, Dr. Anane Antwi said, the group will embark on weekly picket at the finance ministry until their demands are met.
