Jordan Ayew hat-trick secures an emphatic 4-3 victory for the Black Stars over the Central African Republic at the ongoing World Cup qualifier on Monday.

The Crystal Palace’s attacker, who scored a winner against Mali, was given a starting role in West Africa’s fourth World Cup qualifier against Wild Beast.

Fatawu Issahaku, who was a starter in this game won a penalty for Ghana, which Jordan Ayew converted in the sixth minute, resulting in a flurry of goals.

CAR regained the lead with goals from Louis Mafouta in the 11th and 41st minutes, ensuring they maintained their lead in the first half.

The Back Stars regained their lead with a well-taken cross from Gideon Mensah.

Issahaku scored two minutes later, followed by Jordan Ayew’s rebound after Mohammed Kudus’ shot was blocked.

The CAR pulled one back with a powerful strike from Mafouta.

This win means Ghana is on top of Group I with nine points, maintaining it’s dominance at Baba Yara Stadium, having only lost a World Cup qualifier.
