A young lady believed to be a university student has met her untimely death after she and her boyfriend in a fit of rage stabbed themselves at Adam Nana, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East constituency of the Central Region.
Information gathered by Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan indicate that an informant to the lady called her to inform her about her boyfriend cheating with another lady.
Unwilling to share her lover with another lady, the deceased is said to have been boiling with anger, hired an Okada rider to transport her in a rush to the boyfriend’s house.
Upon reaching her destination, she confronted the boyfriend over the cheating allegation resulting in a heated exchange of words.
In the process, tempers reached a crescendo forcing the lady who was armed with a knife to stab the boyfriend on the back of his neck, causing blood to ooze from the deep wound.
He managed to overpower the lady, took hold of the knife and stabbed her multiple times on the chest and neck killing her in the process. The knife was left stuck in her neck as she gave up the ghost.
The police were informed of the incident following which officers arrived to convey the deceased to the morgue.
Investigation has commenced into the case.
