A seriously sick female believed to be in her late 60s with P.O.P on her legs who was allegedly dumped at a bush at Gomoa Ojobi in the Central Region on Tuesday has died.
She passed on Thursday morning and her body has been conveyed to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital morgue.
The victim is believed to have been on admission at a hospital.
Some residents claim they saw an ambulance parked along the road and some persons removing the patient and dumping her in the bush with a wheelchair on Tuesday, June 11, 2023 at around 8:30 PM.
The residents even though they could not see the inscription on the ambulance due to bad visibility, suspect the vehicle came from a health facility in Winneba.
It is not immediately known why the patient was dumped in the bush.
The Gomoa Ojobi Community Chairman, Apostle Robert Afraku had called on the Gomoa East Social welfare authorities to come for the patient to save her.
