The 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections of Ghana is approaching very fast and is getting interesting by the minute and day.

Various experts across the globe continue to identify the inability of African politicians that seeks political office to provide a comprehensive plan as to why they want to lead as the bane of the continent’s developmental setbacks.

This year seems to be the first time the country Ghana is experiencing something new in the political space that seems to be positive that has the potential of propelling this country into prosperity. For the first time in the history of Ghana, an Independent Presidential Aspirant in the person of Alan Kyerematen remains the only aspirant in election 2024 that has provided his Policy or plan to develop Ghana.

Mr. Alan Kyerematen as far back as January 2023, introduced his Plan themed the Great Transformational Plan that he intends to develop Ghana with. Since its introduction in 2023, the Plan has been fine-tuned into six clusters with cutting-edge solutions to deal with the current problems of the country Ghana.

The Plan focuses on the stability of the micro and macro economic environment as well as good governance, agricultural Revolution as well as emphasis on industrialization.

The plan spells out how corruption will be dealt with emphatically and the need for Ghanaians to love country and behave as patriots.

Many experts that have engaged on this plan have expressed their satisfaction with it and are very optimistic that with Alan in the helm of affairs as the President, the country will rebound into growth and development.

In a rather shocking development, both the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress that have been in existence in the last 32years and have had the opportunity of governing this country 16years appease are yet to have anything semblance of a policy or plan for the people of this country. What is more disturbing is that the ruling party the NPP that inaugurated a 319 manifesto committee as far back as February of 2024,is yet to deliver any single document that will give Ghanaians any hope as to how the country will come out of the mess we find ourselves.

People have been asking whether the decision by the flagbearer of the NPP in paying churches as well as providing mobile phones at a cost of Ghc1 emanates from the work that the 319 committee members are doing.

Ghanaians deserve better and must be respected with full policy document so they can peruse all the policies of the various aspirants.

The country Ghana with less than five months into a major election must therefore not make the mistake of entrusting the destiny of this country into the hands of people who have no clue and whose random promises are not even original. The promise by the flagbearer of the NPP concerning mobile phones has been with the Ghanaian. Maybe the Vice President must go and ask Kasapa telecommunications that is collapsed which year they started dashing phones to Ghanaians that subscribed to their network.

Beware of fake promises and settle with the practical and the most realistic promises of our time which is the GTP.

I choose the Great Transformational Plan and I chose Alan.
