A shocking crime has unfolded in Assin Seidukrom, Assin South District, where 26-year-old hunter Emmanuel Donkoh has been arrested for allegedly murdering his 57-year-old friend, Kwaku Aboagye, known as Accra Bread.

Aboagye went missing on January 26, 2024, during a hunting expedition.

A police team, led by Detective Corporal Nii Armah Ashitey, also known as Otafregya, apprehended Donkoh after receiving a tip-off regarding his involvement.

Initially, he denied knowing Aboagye’s whereabouts, but after intense questioning,  he confessed to the crime, revealing that he had shot his friend during the expedition. The incident reportedly took place in the Kakum Forest Reserve, particularly in the Assin Seidukrom area.

In a startling development, Donkoh led police to the forest, where they discovered Aboagye’s skeletal remains, identified by his distinctive clothing; Wellington boots, a black T-shirt, and black trousers.

The motive for the killing remains unclear as police continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
