The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) welcomed the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, at its Education Conference held at the University for Development Studies (UDS) on June 4, 2024.
Themed ‘The Role of Education in National Transformation and Employment,” the conference served as a vital platform for discussing the intersection of education and national development.
Minister Adutwum emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing educational standards across Ghana during his address. He highlighted ongoing reforms to improve access to quality education and ensure that students are equipped with the skills necessary for the job market. “Education is not just about knowledge; it’s about preparing our youth for the challenges of tomorrow,” he stated.
