The PRO for National parents Teacher Association council, Felicity Ahafianyor has said that the National PTA council is willing to ready to share perspectives with the government concerning the education system.
Speaking to kasapa fm she expressed that since president Mahama has already said he is going to initiate a national dialogue to curb the education system they are ready to are also ready.
” He said he is going to initiate a national dialogue to see how best it can solve the educational challenges. And we are also preparing to see the way forward to resolve the issues in our education system especially the second cycle”.
She added that the presence of the PTA council has always be there even during the Free SHS. They’ve been helping but not in the open.
“ We were still existing we were still working because without it the Free SHS policy would have collapsed a long time ago. We helped the schools in our small ways by providing furnitures , beds, food. We will continue to help even in the new government because at the end the child benefits the society”.
She added that with the existing challenges in the education system, they are ready to help again with the new government.
” With the new administration that is coming up too we have seen the challenges, we have also prepared to meet them and we will help them to make sure the system work an work properly after all it the betterment for us”.
