
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Mfantseman Constituency of the Central Region has revoked its two (2) top executives over the defeat of the Mfantseman MP in the just-ended 2024 general election.
In a statement issued on Friday, February 14, 2025, it was noted that “Following a majority decision of the Mfantseman Constituency Executive Committee at its emergency meeting held on Friday, 7th February 2025, at the Party office, I have been directed by the Constituency Chairman to bring to the attention of all Party persons that certain appointments have been made sequel to the revocation of others.”
The affected executives include the Constituency Communications Officer, MR. FREDERICK ABEKU ESSILFIE, and the Constituency Research & Elections Officer, MR. BENJAMIN GYAN.
The Constituency Secretary, Mr. Evans Kwesi Osei, confirmed the development in an interview with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan.
According to the release, three new appointments have been made following the directive by the Constituency Executive Committee.
The new appointments are as follows:
MR. EDWARD ACQUAH (Constituency Second Vice Chairman)
HON. JOHN AFFUL (Constituency Research & Elections Officer)
Mr. Richard OBOH-ROCKS ON (Constituency Communications Officer):
“The Constituency Executive Committee, on behalf of the Party congratulates the officers of the Party on their new appointments, as the same is contingent upon satisfactory performance.”
