Member of Parliament for Bunkpurugu, in the Northern region, Boar Namlit Solomon has called on the public and Relief agencies to come to the aid of victims affected in last night’s Bunkpurugu rainstorm.
“A lot of houses have been ripped off…and we hope that so many can come in and help us with this drive to support displaced persons.”
At least three persons are said to have lost their lives in the flooding which happened last night.
Several others have also been displaced, as well as properties lost.
