Locals have found the body of the man drowned in the Afram river after last Sunday’s accident.
Kasapafmonline.com understands the body of the deceased, believed to be in his 40s was washed ashore Monday.
The Kwahu Afram Plains District Security Council(DISEC) early this week had mounted a search for the missing person but was unsuccessful.
The ferry crossing the Afram River sunk off Saturday night drowning one person while several others injured.
The small ferry sank while carting a truck [Man Diesel vehicle] and some goods from Atoaboma to Bridge Anu. It’s believed that the weight of the vehicle and goods caused it to sink, locals say.
