The 22-year-old aspiring NPP Member of Parliament for the Kwabre East Constituency, Francisca Oteng-Mensah has told Kasapa FM one of her immediate concerns is to put up an office complex for the Party.
A land has been earmarked for the project, which is to be located in the constituency.
“Some of the things we are going to do is to train the youth for free. They believe in this because they see the need for youth empowerment. We are also going to build a Party office complex. We’ve already started something on this, with land acquired,” she told host of Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM, Fiifi Banson.
Oteng-Mensah who has since been attacked (READ HOW) as being too young for the job told Banson one of the major selling points of her campaign was to “provide free health care services which will include renewal of national health premiums of the constituents.”
Oteng-Mensah won Saturday’s elections with some 331 votes, beating the incumbent MP Kofi Frempong who had 189 votes. The other contestant Adjei Sefa had 33 votes.
The NPP went to the polls to elect parliamentary candidates in 245 constituencies for the 2016 elections.
