Sammy Awuku

National Youth Organizer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party, Sammy Awuku, has told Kasapa FM he regrets criticizing the governance model of late president John Evans Atta Mills.

In an interview on Kasapa FM‘s afternoon political show Si Mi So, Awuku said upon some reflection he has come to appreciate that Mills was far better a president than the current traits his predecessor John Mahama is exhibiting. He argues that the quality of Mills was something Mahama would struggle to reach.

“Sometimes i feel bad for the way i criticized Prof. Mills. I demanded better governance from him but what we are experiencing now stinks.

Mahama is worst. He has failed. I compare the two and it’s sad what we are going through now.”

“We’ve spent over 800 million cedis alone on GYEEDA. That is just one of many that we’ve wasted state resources on.

“The only consistent thing about this government is that they’ve become inconsistent.”
