Ghanaian player Afriyie Acquah has joined Italian club FC Torino.

The deal will see him stay at the club until 2019.

“Torino Football Club is delighted to announce that it has acquired outright Hoffenheim Fc entitlement to benefits of the player Afriyie Acquah,” the club confirmed in a terse note on their website.


Acquah last played for Hoffenheim. In the past, he also featured for Sampdoria, Palermo and Parma.

He was a member of the Ghana squad that made it to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Acquah played for Bechem United locally before heading to Europe.
