Ghana’s parliament has honoured a former colleague, and recently enskined Paramount Chief of the Tolon traditional area, Robert Nachinab Dameng Mosore.

Kasapafmonline.com‘s Stephen Odoi-Larbi who was in Parliament reports that:

He was escorted into the chamber by the leadership of Parliament, led by Majority Leader Hon. Alban Bagbin and Deputy Minority leader Dominic Nitiwul.

The rules of the house were relaxed for the former MP to be honoured.

He appealed to the house to expedite action on the Chieftancy Bill to help improve governance in the country.

The House was constituted into a committee for the whole of the event

The session was chaired by the first deputy speaker of parliament Ebo Barton-Oduro
