Accra Hearts of Oak Coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has debunked assertions that his team’s excessive energy is due to the reliance on some performance enhancing drugs.

The Phobians have shown a lot of steel and energy against every team they have played in the ongoing Ghana Premier League until they lost to Wa All Stars last weekend.

Although Kenichi and his charges have won a lot of admirers with the way they have swept aside opponents especially with their renewed strength in the second halves of games, others have also questioned where the renewed strength they exert especially in the second halves of their previous game is from.

But the Japanese American tactician says he is disappointed in those accusing his team of cheating instead of giving them credit for playing well.

He quizzed why Wa All Stars are not being accused because they are also playing well.

Is Wa All Stars doping? I do not want to say anything because Wa All Stars played extremely well last Sunday against us and they are a very good side. So if they accuse us then they have to accuse Wa All Stars as well.  We have nothing to hide and we are not doping because that is cheating. Anybody who wants to test the players is welcome.

Kenichi Yatsuhashi early on in one of his facebook posts attributed his team’s dominance in the physical aspect of games to scientific methods his team use in training.
