The Ghana Police Service has said it has put in place adequate measures to forestall any terrorist attacks or disturbances.
Several news hub reported Monday that there was an imminent terrorist attack on two West African nations-Ghana, Nigeria, according to a prophecy by popular Nigerian Prophet, TB Joshua.
“I see Thursday, Friday. Pray for these two nations – Nigeria and Ghana – over gathering in any way; over attack. I am seeing attack and that will be in a foreign way. The attack will come not in a local way. So please open your lips and pray for these two nations for protection” TB Joshua revealed in a live sermon on Sunday April 10 aired on his Emmanuel TV channel.
But a statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Cephas Arthur on behalf of the Police said “All the requisite operational strategies, including intelligence gathering and tactical deployment of personnel have been unfolded to nip any breach of the peace in the bud”
The police further entreated the public “to be vigilant and report any suspicious parcels or items left at public places and other vantage points, or questionable characters to the Police for the necessary action”.
Below is the statement by the Police
