Controversial General Pastor and General Overseer of the International Godsway Ministries, Bishop Daniel Obinim has revealed that his fellow pastor and founder and General Overseer of the Royal House Chapel, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah was nearly hauled before Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II for insulting his (Obinim)’s church members.
Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah in a recent radio interview described Obinim’s church members as a bunch of ignorant people. According to him, right discerning members of the public will not worship under the feet of the embattled Bishop whose conduct in the past few years have been very questionable.
He characterized Obinim’s mode of operation and certain claims as umbilical, heresy and pure magic which must be condemned in no uncertain terms.
But Obinim who was infuriated by the comment by his fellow pastor in response, described Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah as a stupid Man of God.
Speaking with Gattuso on Aben Wo Ha on Kasapa 102.3 FM Monday, Bishop Obinim certain top personalities particularly chiefs in his church were angry by Sam Korankye Ankrah’s comment which almost resulted in a summon by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to explain what he meant by his (Obinim)’s church members not being discerning.
“The prominent chiefs in Ashanti Region who are my church members were really angry by those unfortunate statement by Korankye Ankrah and they really wanted to take take action against him. They nearly summoned him before Otumfuo Osei Tutu, to explain why he referred to members of the my church as unwise people, but I begged them and told them I will respond to him (Korankye Ankrah) myself”.
When asked by Gattuso to give details about his feud with the General Overseer of the Royal House Chapel, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah and Bishop Owusu Bempah, he said “Since I was born, I have never said anything ridiculous about anyone in this country, so if someone says I (Obinim) has said anything that has tarnished his/her image they should bring it up.
“I will not pride myself with worldly things which I will not benefit after the end time, so I also asked him (Sam Korankye) what has he done to his church such that he also has that large number of membership in his church.”
Touching on Bishop Owusu Bempah, Obinim said the former also referred to his miracles as Black magic (juju) and making others to believe that a man of God cannot do powerful miracles.
“I also heard him (Bempah)on several radio stations challenging my source of power and to the extent that he called for power contest with me. I threw that challenge to him to meet me but he didn’t turn up for the Spiritual power battle until I heard him on an Accra based radio station announcing his readiness and I say emphatically that if Owusu Bempah will put me to test on my source of spiritual power then am ready for him.
