Government has donated some 50 bags of rice and sugar each to the three Muslim sects in Cape Coast towards the Ramadan period.
Aquinas Tawiah Quansah, Regional Minister, said the donation “was the government’s gesture to the Regional Muslim Council to help the less-privileged during the Ramadan.”
Imam Abubakar Ibrahim, Leader of the Tijania Muslim sect, thanked the President for the gesture.
Alhaji Mohammed Ben Abu, Wallah Chief of the Al-Sunna sect commended the Presidency for the support and assured the Minister they would put the items to good use..
