Gospel musician, Selina Boateng has confirmed that colleague gospel musician Brother Sammy was indeed involved in an accident at Sefwi Wiawso nearly a month ago.

Speaking to Kojo Preko-Danquah on Kasapa Entertainment she said the accident was not a prank as was widely claimed by a section of the public.

“Truth be told, if someone should say the accident never happened then that fellow is a liar, but the moment an accident occurs, usually people are only concerned about how serious the accident is, and only seem bothered when there are casualties.”

A huge section of the public doubted the accident when pictures of the Kumasi based musician went viral on social media with his face and other body parts covered with plasters and bandages, as they claim the accident was not as severe as he sought to portray and also the fact that it was a publicity stunt to promote his new album.

One of such persons was the PRO of the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), Michael Kwaku Ola.

However Selina Boateng who was billed to perform on the same show with Brother Sammy disclosed that he (Sammy) performed that same day despite the fact that he was injured.

She noted that the Police who had been to the accident scene to assess the situation insisted that Brother Sammy was well to write his own statement after examining him but he (Sammy) got furious.
