Municipal Chief Executive for Ga West Municipal Assembly, Samuel Attuquaye Quaye has hinted of a possible resolution to the issue of displaced persons affected in the Sodom and Gomorrah demolition of last weekend.

A statement to announce government’s roadmap towards the resettlement of the victims will soon be released.
“Even though government is still in the process of acquiring Kotoku, there is a parcel of land still within Ga West which we have indicated to government. It is huge enough and government can acquire it and establish the displaced people on it.”

Government is under pressure to relocate thousands of people at the slum, which is Ghana’s biggest.
