Member of Parliament for the Upper Denkyira West constituency, who was defeated in last weekend’s NPP primaries, Benjamin Kofi Ayeh has said his lose didn’t come as a suprise.

“My development projects in the area are unbeatable…..but I am not sure delegates voted on this. My defeat was divine.”

Ayeh was seeking re-election to lead the party a fourth time but was denied the honour.

He told Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM that he remains committed to the development agenda of the Constituency.

The former Minority Chief Whip polled 115 votes of the total valid votes cast while the winner Samuel Nsowah Gyan secured some 220 votes.
