Accra Hearts of Oak beat rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Sunday’s President’s Cup match played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After 90 minutes of battling each other, the two sides headed for what was a tense sudden death session, which travelled nine goals in all with Hearts winning 5-4.

Hearts’ win makes it trophy number four after winning the maiden edition in 2003, as well as in the years 2009 and 2013.

The competition’s other silverware has been shared between Kotoko, who won it 2004, 2005 and 2008; and Berekum Chelsea who became two-time winners in 2011 and 2012.
