The Electoral Commission will kick start the second leg of the re-registration of deleted NHIS registrants today.
The commission has given a window of eight more days for NHIS registrants who were unable to partake in the exercise to do so.
The Election Management Body had earlier declined extending the exercise despite registering only 24, 287 of the deleted NHIS registrants, during the 10-day exercise.
But the decision was reversed after an emergency IPAC meeting on Wednesday August 3.
The EC is also set to organise a continuous voter registration exercise for further registration on the 19th to 26th of August.
