The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress Mr. Koku Anyidoho has picked up nomination forms on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.
He picked the forms from the head office of the Electoral Commission in Accra on Wednesday, 14 September.
Mr. Mahama is seeking a second term in the December polls which promises to be keenly contested between the ruling NDC and the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The Electoral Commission has pegged the filing fee for Presidential nominees at GHc50,000 while parliamentary aspirants will pay GHc10,000.
Four political parties have since picked presidential nomination forms in a bid to unseat incumbent President Mahama in the December 7 general elections.
Madam Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akwasi Addai Odike of the United Progressive Party (UPP),
Kofi Akpaloo of the Independent People’s party (IPP) and Nana Agyenim- Boateng of the United Front Party (UFP) all picked their forms on Tuesday.
