Some aggrieved workers of local pharmaceutical compnay, Starwin, are up in arms with its board headed by Head Pastor of ICGC, Dr. Mensa Otabil.
The workers Friday picketed to drum home the need for Otabil to be removed from office.
They’ve accused him of overseeing what they say is a fraudulent sale to rival company Dannex Pharmaceuticals.
They argue that due process is not being followed in a deal whose terms have not been made clear to them.
This is not the first time calls has been made for Otabil’s removal.
In 2013, a shareholder Enviros Solutions Limited, surcharged Otabil, the then Managing Director, Kwasi Yirenkyi, and five others for postponing the 2012 Annual General Meeting
Starwin is one of the companies listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
