IPMC College of Technology has held its 9th graduation ceremony on the theme, “Technology – The World’s New Axis,” at the National Theatre, Accra.
A total of five hundred and sixty-five (565) students graduated in various courses including Bachelor of Science in IT, Advance International diploma in professional system engineering, database technology, software engineering and graphics and web designing.
The Minister for Communications, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah in his address, commended, management of IPMC for contributing to the development of ICT education in the country.
He noted that technology is vital hence huge investments are being made by the ruling government to propel IT education as one of the country’s asset.
He advised the graduants to challenge themselves by grasping all opportunities to create new concepts.
Mr. Boamah applauded the graduating students for their accomplishment, and urged them to make use of the knowledge they had acquired for national and personal development.
Mr Amar Deep S. Hari, Chief Executive Officer of IPMC, also urged the graduants to utilize the knowledge of the expert IT professional to solve problems of modern day IT savvy organizations, while assisting them to become more productive and advanced in the way they conduct their day to day businesses.
The management of the institution awarded Sixteen (16) employees for their hardwork demonstrated during the academic period. In all seven (7) students were also awarded for their outstanding academic performance.
As part of the main graduation event, a technology Expo was held to exhibit the project works accomplished by the students of IPMC.
